Data Access Support Hub
The Data Access Support Hub (DASH) is a data access service portal for researchers requiring multi-jurisdictional data in Canada.
Dash aims to provide transparent & readily available information on the availability of data assets, common algorithms, & data access processes. DASH services are provided by a multi-centre coordination team from various provincial/territorial data centres and pan-Canadian organizations, including the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) and Statistics Canada Microdata.
DASH will support its partners and Indigenous groups across Canada in building data governance agreements guided by Indigenous data sovereignty principles. It also supports and respects OCAP (Ownership, Control, Access and Possession). Principles when requesting, accessing and using First Nations data, as set out by the First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC).
